Would you agree with the statement that people are searching for meaning and purpose in their lives?
Would you agree that people are searching for deep relationships and a spiritual ‘something’ to fill the gap in their lives?
Would you agree that life is fast and full on, and that we seem to have lost the ability to just stop and be ?
Do you think that houses on new estates can be great to live in but the 6 foot walls around them, though providing security and privacy, militate against making friendships ?
If you do then you are responding in the same way
that Penny Joyce did when she looked at the Madley Park estate. She saw
people needing a point of meeting and a chance to meet friends as well as
create community.
On Madley Park you can join in purely social events.

In the early church people met in homes and shared everything together, they bore each others sorrows and helped when there was need. This seems a great model for community life, and relationships. Acts 4 vv 32 talks about this.
