R&D Priorities

G’s Growers work with a range of external institutes, academics, technology specialists and research organisations to develop future farming initiatives that work on our farms. 

We benefit through much of our R&D activity being supported by UK government grants through the UK Fruit and Vegetable Aid Scheme, which enables us to undertake much of these R&D activities

We have projects looking at a number of development areas such as optimising crop nutrition, soil protection, pest intelligence, disease prevention and peat, that all under pin our transition to regenerative agriculture and a future farming paradigm.

Our precision farming agenda combines grower knowledge with specialist technical experts to drive the integration of BIG data into our decision making and crop management practices.
